rusting on the vine
Hey so it looks like Jeph Jacques finally updated his Recommended Listening page.
OH SNAP
What the hell have I been doing? Where is my musical 2006? I heard this fantastic song on La Ley, but the only words I can remember are "fueron sin perder," and I might've messed even those up.
Now that I've a way to buy records at cost, I may check the new Sparks out. We are not quite irrelevent yet, but we approach. I totally e-mailed Swygart for this week's Singles Jukebox. Giggles!
Oh, and I slipped twenty dollars into the recess of Mary's truckdoor. She'll find it in a few days. The Lord works the second shift.

That tapes 'n tapes album is fantastic. Jeph actually didn't like it (don't you read indietits???). I can't believe it took pitchfork that long to ejaculate all over it though. Album's fuckin ancient.
No, I don't read indietits anymore. It's like his sloppy seconds; alternately, a profane Ryan North rip.
I stopped reading it because it was never updating. What is this tapes 'n tapes you speak of?
comic
i don't read indietits regularly. Just whenever I pop over to the LJ to read the syndicated stuff on my friends page.
Jeph thinks they sound like Pavement. Either Jeph's retarded or his ears or broken, or maybe I just really don't like Pavement. I definitely pick up more of a pixies vibe from them. But still- yeah-- a bit generic, but great little songs. eh
